The Spiers Centre: Your Community, Your Support

At The Spiers Centre in Heathridge, we believe in more than just providing services — we believe in building resilience, connection, and hope. As your local neighbourhood centre, we’re dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges and opportunities. Whether you need financial counselling, mental well-being support, or family services, we’re here for you.

What We Offer

• Financial Hardship & Emergency Relief — Life can be unpredictable. We assist with budgeting advice, bill-negotiations, and emergency relief when resources are stretched.

• Mental Well-Being & Support Groups — From workshops to one-on-one conversations, we help reduce isolation and strengthen mental health.

• Parenting & Family Services, Crèche — Caring for the young ones and supporting parents is central. We provide safe spaces, early years services, and family-oriented programs.

• Foodbank & Crisis / Disaster Support — In times of emergency, you don’t have to go it alone. Help is available through our foodbank services and crisis relief.

• Workshops, Venue Hire & Community Programs — From education to community gathering, our workshops and venue facilities are here to connect people and foster learning.

Why It Matters

Strong communities are built when people feel seen, supported, and connected. At The Spiers Centre, our guiding values are rooted in diversity, inclusivity, and a belief that everyone deserves dignity. We know that help offered with compassion can change lives. Whether you are facing financial stress, parenting challenges, or simply seeking a community, you belong here.

How You Can Engage

• Reach Out if you need support. We’re here to listen, assist, and walk with you.

• Volunteer or Donate — Your time, skills or resources extend our reach and make a real difference.

• Participate in Workshops & Groups — Join our workshops, support groups, or community events to build connection and resilience.

Looking Forward

Our vision is clear: a Heathridge where no one feels isolated or overwhelmed. Over the coming year, we are expanding our mental well-being programs, enhancing emergency relief services, and strengthening community partnerships. Together, we’ll build a safer, kinder, more supportive environment for all.
