What Is the Eisenhower Matrix?
This time management framework categorises tasks into four key quadrants, based on two criteria: urgency and importance. It’s a practical way to ensure your daily efforts align with long-term goals — both in marketing and in business.
✅ Quadrant 1: Urgent and Important — Do it now
Client deliverables, upcoming deadlines, and any task with immediate consequences fall here.
📅 Quadrant 2: Important but Not Urgent — Schedule it
This is where true growth happens. Strategic planning, brand development, and long-term marketing efforts live here. Make time for them — they’re essential.
🔁 Quadrant 3: Urgent but Not Important — Delegate it
These are tasks that need to be done, but not necessarily by you. Think admin, customer support, or even day-to-day marketing execution. Delegating them is a smart way to reclaim your time.
❌ Quadrant 4: Neither Urgent nor Important — Eliminate it
Scrolling endlessly, unnecessary meetings, and non-essential tasks should be cut or minimised. Time spent here is time lost.
