Student life is never the same two days in a row—and that’s exactly what makes it exciting.
My mornings usually begin with a quick coffee run in Perth CBD before heading into ECU City Campus. There’s something energising about studying right in the heart of the city. The streets are always busy, people are on the move, and it creates a sense of motivation to start the day.
Once on campus, my schedule is a mix of lectures, group discussions, and independent study. Some days are more intense than others, especially when assignments are due, but I try to stay organised and make the most of my time between classes. Finding a quiet corner with a coffee often helps me focus and stay productive. After the lecture we can enjoy the roof top balcony where we can get the fresh air refresh and having a lunch in a open place by seeing the open city view.
Between lectures, I like to step for a break—whether it’s grabbing lunch, walking around the city, or just getting some fresh air. These small moments make a big difference, especially when things start to feel overwhelming. Balancing study, part-time work, and personal life isn’t always easy, but taking short breaks helps me reset and stay on track.
Evenings are usually a mix of finishing assignments or spending time with friends. Sometimes it’s a relaxed night, other times it’s a busy one—but every day brings something different. That variety is what makes studying at ECU such a unique experience.
Overall, being a student here is about more than just classes—it’s about growth, independence, and learning how to manage life in a fast-paced environment. It can be challenging at times, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.
