A Day in the Life: Exploring ECU’s City Campus and the Perth CBD 🏙️

Hey everyone! Living and studying in Perth has been an incredible journey since moving into my shared house back in early March. Today, I’m taking you along for a typical day in my life as an Edith Cowan University (ECU) student navigating the vibrant CBD.

Morning Inspiration at Campus 🧠

Walking past this massive, illuminated mechanical brain mural never gets old. It completely sets the tone for the day a perfect reminder of the innovation and fresh ideas we are surrounded by. Whether I'm diving into consumer behavior research or prepping for marketing projects, this collaborative space just gets my creative gears turning.

The Afternoon Hustle 💼

Being a student isn’t just about the coursework, it’s about the grind! Between classes, I’m usually grabbing a coffee in a hidden laneway and spending some time tweaking my resume. Balancing academics while applying for part-time retail roles around the city keeps my schedule packed, but the energy of Perth’s CBD makes the hustle feel completely worth it.

Winding Down 🍕

After a busy day on campus and exploring the city, heading back home is the perfect way to recharge. My ultimate time-saving hack? Firing up the air fryer! Nothing beats throwing together a quick mushroom pizza or roasting some veggies while I review my notes for the next day. It’s the ultimate student comfort routine.
